Blaze Knocked Out at Hewlett Harbor Home

Fire destroys bedroom in Seawane Drive house.

The Hewlett Fire Department responded to a house fire at around 11:30 a.m. at a Seawane Drive home in Hewlett Harbor.

Upon arrival, firefighters found fire on the first floor of the home. The fire was quickly knocked down.

The Woodmere, Lawrence-Cedarhurst, Inwood, Valley Stream, East Rockaway, and Lynbrook fire departments also responded to assist in the operation and/or cover the Hewlett Fire Department's other calls.
