I agree! I saw on a comment thread that "the Patch" was sold and the new owners got ridRead Moreo f most of the local editors. Now all the L.I. Patches run the same stories. So disappointing! I'm hoping they hear the outcry. Otherwise, I will have to give up on the 5T Patch.

why limit it to snow days? the streets of cedarhurst have become, in essence, one-way roadsRead Morebecau se of all the on-street parking. i understand that not everyone can use their garage, and that many homes have 2 or more cars, and that it may not always be possible to park on the driveway, but it seems to be the rule that we've inherited from brooklyn that streets are to be used for parking. the village hall refuses to do anything about parking, despite numerous complaints and suggestions. blocking the roads, especially on snow days so that the scrapers (when they do finally show up) can't do an adequate job, is just plain selfish.
