The lights shined bright and the music was echoing through Andrew J Parise Park for our second concert of the summer series. Magic by “The BOZ” opened our concert event with his wizardly approach that entertained our crowd. The BOZ performance kept everyone on their toes while handkerchiefs, magic wands, and even a can of soda-helped display his illusions. Children and even some adults participated in The BOZ final act that helped make room for the outstanding 20-piece band known as Swingtime Big Band.

Swingtime Big Band is a dedicated performance to America’s greatest popular standards. Recently described by The New York Times as Musicians who make the sounds of the pre-rock era rock, the ensemble specializes in performing original arrangements of Big Band classics from the Great American Songbook, bringing to life both the style and the spirit of this music for 21st century.

Mayor, Andrew J. Parise, The Board of Trustees, and public officials, along with our generous sponsors from local businesses and corporations are very pleased with the outcome and the great performance from these two shows. On July 16th the village brings Ireland to the park with The Mclean Avenue Band. We also invite you to come and enjoy our playground and water park. You will be happy you did!
