Town of Hempstead Senior Councilman Anthony J. Santino and Assemblyman Brian Curran were joined by Councilman James Darcy and Legislator Fran Becker this Saturday at Boy Scouts of America Troop 116 Eagle Court of Honor for Ian Freiman.
A resident of Hewlett, Freiman is part of the Valley Stream-based troop and recently earned Scouting's top rank for his success in merit badges, Eagle Scout project and approval from the Eagle Board of Review.
Also on hand at the ceremony were Ian's dad, Martin and Valley Stream Village Justice Robert Bogel.
