Vegas Came To Cedarhurst At Andrew J. Parise Park

L-R: Peter Romano, Manager of TD Bank; Trustee Ari Brown; Trustee Ronald Lanzilotta; Maureen O’Connell, Nassau County Clerk; Salvatore Evola, Village Administrator; Mayor, Andrew J. Parise; Frank Lewis, Attorney at Law; Roy Meserole, Meserole Funeral Home, Inc; Trustee Myrna Zisman; and Deputy Mayor Benjamin Weinstock

Vegas has left the park but not without a non stop-entertaining event filled with laughter, singing, and dancing. Our pre-show by the one and only Magic of Amore set centered stage to display a Vegas inspired performance for the children in Cedarhurst. Kids were laughing while poker cards were flying, dice disappearing, and a Houdini inspired escape trick amazed the crowd. Amore’s comedian approach to his illusions was a perfect opener for the hilarious and charming sister duo know as Sister Act.

Their live vocal impersonations, contagious chemistry, and outrageous costuming sisters Andrea and Celeste, took us on a historic, multimedia journey introducing us to past and present popular female vocalists. Some of the memorable female artist they performed at the concert was Cher, Tina Turner The Andrew Sisters, The Supremes, Janis Joplin, Cindi Lauper, and Dolly Parton. Also included in the show was, Disney, Motown, Country, Broadway, and Latin American medleys.

Mayor, Andrew J. Parise and the Board of Trustees personally want to thank our great sponsors for making this concert something to remember. TD Bank, Frank Lewis Attorney at Law, The Meserole Funeral Home, Inc, and Generators & Beyond, without these great sponsors we would not be able to perform these great concerts. On August 6th Gourmet Glatt Presents Jewish Night with Twins from France and Yoni Ziegelbaum as singer, which is sure to be an action pack show. We also invite you to come and enjoy our playground and water park. You will be happy you did!
