- Councilman Santino Marries Woodmere Residents: Town of Hempstead Senior Councilman Anthony J. Santino performed the marriage ceremony for Woodmere residents Ellen Adler and David Diner at their Five Towns home.
- Film of Hope in Hewlett: Next Monday nigh is Tishah B'Av. Known as the saddest day on the Jewish Calendar and a fast day, as we commemorate the destruction of the holy temple in Jerusalem.
- Brooklyn Cyclones to Host Nassau County Night to Benefit Superstorm Sandy Victims: Head down to Coney Island on July 22 and help raise money for the Nassau Hurricane Recovery Fund, which helps Nassau County victims of Superstorm Sandy.
- Swingtime Big Band in Cedarhurst: The lights shined bright and the music was echoing through Andrew J Parise Park for our second concert of the summer series.
- Santino & Concert Sponsors Bring Sounds of Klezmer to Community: Town of Hempstead Senior Councilman Anthony J. Santino and sponsors of the Town Department of Parks & Recreation Community Concerts series joined together before families and seniors enjoyed The Klezmer Connection’s musical performance.
