Pics: Community Comes Out for First-Ever Arts Below Sunrise

Event featured musicians, artists, merchants, organizations and food.

A large number of people perused Broadway in Hewlett and Woodmere on Sunday for the first-ever Arts Below Sunrise Festival.

The event was sponsored by the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Schools Endowment Fund along with the Five Towns Community Chest and the Hewlett-Woodmere Business Association. Proceeds will benefit HWPSEF. Read about how the event came together here.

Arts Below Sunrise was preceded by the community chest's 5K run.

I was amazed to see everyone in the community having fun for a change. What a great event. Boy was this a long time coming! Great pictures. Thought the robot Rubik cube kids were fun and honored their school.
