Video: North Woodmere Couple Renew Vows on 70th Anniversary
Brooklyn lovebirds met when they were children.
Talk about a lifetime commitment. Louise Rienzo, 94, and her husband John, 93, on Wednesday celebrated a wonderful milestone: their 70th wedding anniversary.
Their 1941 wedding was hosted by future "Honeymooners" star Jackie Gleason, who apparently told John Rienzo after the ceremony, "What the heck are you doing here, take her home."
To mark this special occasion, the Bristal Assisted Living Community of North Woodmere residents renewed their wedding vows in front of their family, friends, and fellow residents.

John Rienzo said his father told him the keys to marriage: don't go to bed angry, and be sure to kiss and make up after an argument.
