VIDEO: Running to Help Wounded Israeli Vets
Supporters gather at North Woodmere Park for a 5K race to raise funds for Beit Halochem, an organization that helps rehabilitate wounded Israeli Veterans.
Five Towns residents as well as hundreds of people from all over New York showed up on Sunday, May 15th, at North Woodmere Park for some morning exercise and philanthropy.
The second annual Friends of Israel Disabled Veterans Five Towns 5K Run/Walk was held to raise funds to help rehabilitate wounded Israeli veterans. For more information about Beit Halochem, visit www.fidv.org.
