Cangemi's New Art Studio/Gallery Opens in Oceanside

Take Part in Art, a NEW art studio, gallery, and art teaching facility has officially opened April 2, 2012.
Lisa L Cangemi, of Cedarhurst, NY, a professional art director/designer, painter, and professor of art and design has opened the new art studio in Oceanside, NY.


Cangemi is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. Cangemi's new Take Part in Art studio/gallery is located at 3118 Lawson Blvd., Oceanside NY 11572 (516-263-6703).

Lisa L Cangemi has been an art director and designer, with her own graphic design agency, C&C Graphic Design, since 1985. Cangemi has been an exhibiting artist/painter for over 25 years, as well as a member of various Long Island Art Leagues, as TriCounty Artists of Long Island, Long Beach Art League and West End Arts. Cangemi has been a professor of art and design since 2003, at various NY colleges. She instructs art enrichment classes, adult art and design courses in
Nassau County school districts. Cangemi also is a certified Grumbacher Painting instructor and teaches acrylic painting courses at several Michael's Art Stores in Nassau County.


Cangemi decided it was time that a gallery showing artworks by local artists, and a studio for teaching courses should open up in the south west part of Nassau. With all of her experience, she is now conducting painting, drawing, sculpture, and expressive art courses for both adults and children.
