Cedarhurst's popular Jewish Night concert will take place as scheduled on Tuesday, said Mayor Andrew Parise.
Nassau County announced last week that it would be in the Five Towns on Aug. 6 and 7, worrying many about the status of the concert.
The event, which starts at 7 p.m., will feature The Magic of Amore and the Shlmoie Dachs Orchestra.
Ground treatment will now take place on Monday, Aug. 13, weather permitting, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the following areas: sections of Cedarhurst, Hewlett Neck, Inwood, Lawrence, Woodmere, and Woodsburgh. You can find a map of the treated area here.
