Their newest video release is out, and there's more than a few reasons - including the upcoming Jewish holidays - it's called "The Book of Good Life."
Yes, life is good for The Maccabeats. These 14 Yeshiva University students make up an a Capella singing group who shot to fame last December, when their hit Chanukah parody song and video "Candlelight" went viral.
Since then, it's been an adventure that's taken them across the globe and earned them international acclaim. Stacey Sweet and videographer Tom Zweibel give you a front row seat with The Maccabeats. In our exclusive one-on-one interview, we sit down with two Maccabeats who call Long Island home, Immanuel Shalev and Jeffrey Ritholtz, and find out why Long Island was key to their success.
Four original members and soloists left the Maccabeats to pursue other endeavors but they got together to create "Standfour " and this video. I hope that you enjoy it as much as the original. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=WAbTDHblxFM You can reach Immanuel Shalev on his cell phone at (516)603-8921 or by Email at shalev007@gmail.com.
