Readers’ Choice: Best Nail Salon in the Five Towns

Time for your close-up: Where do you go for fierce nails?

Nail salons are an ever-present part of the Five Towns landscape and inspire passionate followings. Where else can you sip a cup of coffee while getting a hand massage, nail touchup or waxing — all while catching up on the latest gossip?

There’s an intimate relationship one develops over nails. Some of the most important moments in life start with a manicure and fresh coat of polish. Nail technicians become part of the extended family.

Time to weigh in. Five Towns Patch is looking to unearth the best nail salon in town. Readers’ Choice is a new weekly feature where we ask you — our readers — to tell us your top picks.

Each Monday we’ll list our nominees — this week it’s nail salons — and ask for your recommendation. Did we leave your go-to spot off the list? Go ahead and add it in comments.

Wednesday we’ll narrow the field, taking your recommendations to put to a vote in the ultimate mani-pedi poll.

The following week we’ll announce our winner.

Spring Nails on Broadway - I love Michelle and her staff. Fair prices, great waxing and superior manicures and pedicures. I followed Michelle from my previous salon. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

You left Annie Nails in the Maple Mall between Central Ave and Willow St in Cedarhurst. Lisa is the best-my most relaxing 45 min per week.
