4. The Woodmere Republicans Club will host a on animal rights in New York State starting at 8:30 a.m. Guests include Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos. Alternatively, the Hope for Hempstead Shelter group will stage a protest outside the club's storefront at 10:30 a.m.
