Don't Melt — Cool Off at These Pools and Parks

As the temperature rises, take a swim or let the kids play in the sprinklers.

Is the heat getting to you?

This week, weathermen are predicting extremely high temperatures. If you're looking for a place to cool off, the following pools/sprinklers/beach areas are open.

Please note some places require you to be a resident, while others are open to everyone.

Lynbrook

: Open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Also you can check out the village's Sprinkler Park, which is located next to the pool.

The sprinklers are on seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m, however, you must be a Lynbrook resident.

Registration for pool memberships is ongoing at the Lynbrook Recreation Center (Greis Park). You will need two forms of identification.

Malverne-West Hempstead

Echo Park Pool Complex: Open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 9:45 p.m.

Open to residents of the Town of Hempstead and visitors with the purchase of a daily, seasonal or annual pass.

Indoor and outdoor pools.

Five Towns

Pool: Open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

Admission is cheaper if you have a leisure pass. Nassau County residents can pick one up at the administrative building across from the pool entrance.
