May 2: Proposed Redistricting, Cedarhurst Budget and Holocaust Memorial

1. Under the Republicans' redistricting plan, the Five Towns would be split into two districts. See the full story at 9 a.m. The Rules Committee will vote on the map at the executive building at 1 p.m.

2. Cedarhurst is proposing a raise in taxes. See the story at 1 p.m. The village will also host a final budget hearing tonight at 8 p.m.

3. We'll have coverage of Friday's Hewlett vs. West Hempstead softball match at 5 p.m.
