Stacey Sweet Launches New Website

Life is Sweet. Yes, that's both the sentiment and the inspiration behind a unique news and information content site created by veteran television host and journalist, Stacey Sweet. The site celebrates its official launch this week.

So what makes life sweet at lifeissweet.tv? Exclusive stories and interviews that feature the good things in life. Celebrity interviews? For sure. Behind the scenes features? Absolutely. The sweet things in life? Of course. And you can expect Long Island to be featured prominently as part of the Sweet coverage.

"After years in the hard news business, it's great to focus on covering the good stuff — the things that remind you that life can be sweet too," Sweet said.

Sweet, a resident of the Five Towns, is the former weekend anchor and senior correspondent for the nationally syndicated long-running television show, Inside Edition, as well as a former New York-based Correspondent for TV Guide Network. Long Islanders will recognize Sweet from her multiple stints at News 12 Long Island. And of course, Patch fans know her the creator of the "Sweet" video series that became a regular and very popular feature across the regional Long Island Patch network.

Sweet has worked on many high profile and big breaking stories across the globe, including the inaugurations of three presidents, the death of Princess Diana, and 9-11. While at Inside Edition, Sweet became “Private Sweet” and stood up to the rigors of Army Basic Training at Ft. Sill, Ok., for a critically acclaimed three-part series.
