A Queens man was arrested in North Lawrence Thursday night after allegedly assaulting multiple police officers.


Hewlett’s longtime corner bar is back in business with the official opening of TJ Patricks more than a week ago. 


Lawrence High School graduate Paul Saponaro, of Lower Pottsgrove Township, Pa., died on Sept. 5, at the Phoenixville Hospital. He was 42. 


The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch last Saturday for Long Island and all of the Metropolitan New York area.


The Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department on Friday at 9:20 a.m. responded to a fuel tanker spill onto westbound Peninsula Boulevard between Oxford Road and Rockaway Turnpike in Cedarhurst.
