The Peninsula Public Library has won the Monster Jam winter reading contest offered through the Nassau Library System for the second year in a row.
296 children participated and read over 3000 books. Due to the frigid weather the truck cannot come, but the driver of El Toro Loco, Becky McDonough, willbe at the Library today from 3-5 to sign autographs and take pictures. There will be raffle prizes for the participants and refreshments will be served.
