Hewlett Woman Partners With Broadway Performers for Cancer Benefit

Broadway performers will join a Hewlett woman’s charity theater group next Friday at the Rockville Links Club to benefit children with cancer.

"It's for a wonderful cause and not only does it incorporate the members of Kids Performing Who Kare, but it incorporates professionals from Broadway shows who are donating their time and are passionate about Kids Performing Who Kare," said Gina Naomi Baez, founder of the theatrical group and director of the concert, who was also diagnosed with cancer.

The Broadway performers who will appear on Dec. 13 include Kristy Cates (Wicked), Krista Buccellato (Cathy Rigby's Peter Pan), Joshua Henry (The Scottsboro Boys, Porgy and Bess, American Idiot), Eliseo Roman (In the Heights, Leap of Faith), and Jodi Stevens (Jekyll and Hyde, Urban Cowboy).
