Cedarhurst Lawyer Gets Woman of the Year Nod

Deborah Kaminetzky honored by Hadassah.

A Cedarhurst lawyer has been named “Woman of the Year” by Yashar, the attorneys’ and judges’ chapter of Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America.

Deborah Kaminetzky will be presented with the award at the Nassau Region of Hadassah Convention at the Long Island Marriott in Uniondale on May 16.

“I am honored to be receiving the ‘Woman Of The Year’ award from Yashar Hadassah,” she said. “The chapter has programming on topics of both legal and Jewish interest with judges and lawyers working together on programming, membership and fundraising for a great cause.”

Kaminetzky is a life member of Hadassah and serves on the board and as social secretary of Yashar. She has been involved in the past year with coordinating programs and attracting new members to the chapter.

Her concentrates on matrimonial, construction contracts and small business litigation.

Hadassah, founded in 1912, is a volunteer organization that focuses on strengthening relations with Israel and ensuring Jewish continuity.
