The Hewlett Football team and cheerleaders recently walked in support of breast cancer awareness at the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at Jones Beach.
Wearing pink, "Never Stop Fighting" Hewlett football t-shirts, they walked with the "1000 Miles - Live, Love, Laugh" team from Hewlett. 1000 Miles is led by Eliane Netto-Rosen and also includes many members of the Hewlett basketball team as well as many students.
The Hewlett football team and cheerleaders raised and donated over $1,000 to 1000 miles.
