No Debate?

In past years when there have been contested elections, the Lawrence Association, together with the League of Women Voters, has held a debate so that the public could learn more about the strengths and weaknesses of each candidate. The debate three years ago was most informative for the public. So the question is why not this year? Nachum Segal offered to provide a venue on JM in the AM but David Seidemann declined the invitation. While I run on my record, the public knows very little about the agenda of the other candidates or what they might do once in office. There is little time left but I am willing to find a media venue for a lively and informative debate.
