Deceased Local Bank Manager to be Honored Sunday

Hewlett-Woodmere Business Association to hold memorial for Michael Ludwig.

The Hewlett-Woodmere Business Association will hold a memorial ceremony on Sunday for its treasurer who died in March.

The event on Sunday had been planned as an installation brunch, but the group decided to use it to honor the memory of Michael Ludwig, the business manager at the Hewlett Citibank, who passed away unexpectedly on March 22 while on vacation celebrating his 60th birthday.

“Mike was a diligent and effective treasurer of the association,” said Anthony Campanile, a board member of HWBA. “Mike was one of the founding members of the newly formed organization who brought to the table fresh ideas and perfected old standards. He was also a personal friend and will be dearly missed.”
