One of the largest gyms in the Five Towns is Life Club in Lawrence (235 Mill St.), offering services and facilities that most modest-sized gyms just don’t have the room for, such as basketball, racquetball, juice bar, steam room, massage, a spa, physical therapy room and many other amenities.

For those who want one-on-one instruction, in Hewlett specializes in customized programs for individual sessions. Other personal trainer specialties include working with post-rehab patients, seniors, the physically challenged and pregnant women.
