Good to see a new commercial building going up on the corner of Franklin and Cedar in Woodmere. This will add a tax paying property to the tax rolls. Good that it is not another shul or religious school which pay no taxes. Similarly dozens of "clergy" pay no school taxes in districts 14 & 15 due to the distorted way NYS Real Property Law 460 is implemnted in Nassau CO. A small exemption gets inflated to as much as $14,900 !!!
