48 Hours Mystery Looks Into Death of Jeff Locker

Episode on motivational speaker from the Five Towns airs on Saturday night.

Last April, a Manhattan judge a 38-year-old man for the murder of Jeffrey Locker, a motivational speaker from North Woodmere that was found dead in Harlem in 2009.

According to the convicted, Kenneth Minor, he was paid by Locker to kill him. Locker, 52, apparently wanted to escape his financial woes, and evidence presented during the trial showed the 52-year-old had substantial debt and recently purchased life insurance.

The case will be the subject of Saturday night's episode of 48 Hours Mystery, which asks "Did the victim hire his own killer?"
