Attorney: Woodmere Man's Guns, Explosives a 'Hobby'

Marc Ringel pleads not guilty to counts against him.

The attorney of a Woodmere man who was arrested on Tuesday after explosives and guns were found in his parent's house claimed the 53 year old had an “out of control" hobby, Long Island Press reported.

Marc Ringel pleaded not guilty on Thursday to drug and weapons charges. He was ordered held without bail and is due back in court Monday.

“If you look on the Internet, you can easily find out how to make bombs," attorney Saul Bienenfeld said. "If you want to take that up as a hobby, everything can be sold legally. It’s when you put it together that you have a problem. Not everything was put together.”
