A small fire broke out in the ’s kitchen ceiling, causing substantial damage, according to fire officials.
At around 10 a.m., the responded to the blaze at the club with three trucks and 15 firefighters under the direction of Lt. Michael Beilinson. The fire was quickly put out and firefighters spent the next hour overhauling and ventilating the building, Beilinson said.
The was called in and responded with two trucks and 10 additional firefighters.
There were no injuries. According to Beilinson, the fire appeared accidental, however, a routine investigation was called into the Nassau County Fire Marshal's office.
