Cedarhurst Man Arrested for Burglary

Defendant broke into house in September and stole jewelry, police said.

A Cedarhurst man was arrested after he allegedly broke into a Buckingham Road home in September and stole assorted jewelry, according to police.

On Sept. 26, 2011, Bruno G. Panuccio Jr., 24, allegedly entered the house through a rear second story window and took jewelry belonging to the homeowner, police said. The defendant was identified through physical evidence left behind at the scene.

Panuccio is charged with burglary in the second degree and will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Thursday.
