Cops: 6 Men on Bikes Mug Victim on Doughty Boulevard

Six men on bicycles mugged a man on Doughty Boulevard early Monday morning, police said.

At about 5:25 a.m., the 25-year-old victim was walking on Doughty Boulevard when a man riding a bicycle approached him, took out a black knife and demanded his money, according to police. Five more men riding bicycles then approached the victim.

A second subject — described as 20 years old with a thin build and wearing red shorts — waved a metal bat and demanded cash and the victim’s Samsung phone. The victim handed over his possessions and the subjects fled on their bikes north on Doughty Boulevard. No injuries were reported.
