Cops: GPS Units Stolen from Cars

Grand Larceny

Between 12:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Aug. 30, a laptop was stolen from a vehicle on Hewlett Heath Road in Hewlett. No damage to the vehicle was reported.

At 1:05 p.m. Sept. 2, a wallet and contents were taken from a woman's purse at Walmart in Valley Stream.

Larceny from Car

Between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 28, USC and GPS were stolen from a car at Costco on Rockaway Turnpike in North Lawrence.

Between 7 a.m. Aug. 27 and 8 a.m. Aug. 28, a camera, USC, and flash pad were taken from a car on Morris Avenue in Inwood.

Between 6 a.m. Aug. 28 and 6 p.m. Aug. 29, a laptop, GPS, sunglasses, and other miscellaneous items were stolen from a car at the Green Acres Mall Sears.

Between 9 p.m. Aug. 30 and 11:50 a.m. Aug. 31, a GPS and vehicle information were taken from a car on Teneyck Avenue. No damage to the car was reported.

Between 10 p.m. Sept. 1 and 7 a.m. Sept. 2, a man found his wallet stolen from his car's glove compartment. The car, parked on Fieldstone Lane in Valley Stream, was not damaged.

Petit Larceny

At 5:20 p.m. Aug. 27, a bike, left unlocked, was taken from Woodmere Public Library.

At 2:30 p.m. Aug. 30, a bike was stolen from a driveway on Beech Street in Atlantic Beach.

Arrests

Andre Kollore, 48, of Jamaica, was charged with petit larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property at Home Depot in Valley Stream.

Jason Moise, 23, of Jamaica, was charged with petit larceny and unlawful possession of marijuana at Target in Valley Stream.

Krystal Mackey, 31, of South Richmond Hill, was charged with petit larceny at Sears in Valley Stream.

Mohamed Ibrahim, 52, of Valley Stream, was charged with petit larceny at Home Depot in Valley Stream.

Sharon Richardson, 54, of Elmont, was charged with petit larceny at JC Penney in Valley Stream.

Yvette Hicks, 48, of St. Albans, was charged with petit larceny at Macy's in Green Acres Mall.
