Cops: Man Burglarized Hewlett Neck Home, Shoved Woman to the Ground

Police are searching for the man who broke into a Hewlett Neck home Saturday and shoved a woman to the ground before fleeing, cops said.

According to detectives, at 8:10 p.m., the man entered a residence on Woodmere Boulevard S. via the second floor window. A 56-year-old female victim confronted him and was shoved to the ground. 

He fled out the window with undisclosed proceeds and cops are unsure in which direction he headed. The victim suffered a head contusion and a hand injury and was treated at the scene.

The man's described as an unshaven Hispanic male in his mid-to-late 30s. He's approximately 5-foot-8 with a stocky build, and he was wearing all black.
