Cops: Possible Gas Leak Prompts Lawrence School Evacuation

Lawrence Middle School was evacuated Thursday afternoon after reports of a possible gas leak, confirmed Nassau County Police.

NCPD aided in the evacuation after the report of a potential leak at 12:26 p.m. Thursday.

Cops said the latest reports indicated no one was injured and students were able to return to classes shortly thereafter.
