Cops: Teens Beat, Rob Man on His Way to Work

Teens kicked victim in the head, rode away on biked in North Lawrence, cops said.

Nassau County Police are searching for three teenagers who they say beat and robbed a man on his way to work Sunday in North Lawrence.

Cops said the 35-year-old victim was walking east on Mott Avenue near John Street at 6:30 a.m. As he walked, three unknown teenagers wearing hooded sweatshirts snuck up behind him, threw him to the ground, and kicked him in the head, cops said. One of the teens took cash and other items before fleeing north on Bernard Street on bicycles.

The victim sustained minor cuts and refused further medical attention at the scene.
