Crime Watch: License Plates Stolen, 3 DWI Arrests

The following was reported by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Thefts

• Jan. 15-19: Washington Avenue, Cedarhurst; victim reported property stolen from his yard.
• Jan. 21: Lawrence Avenue, Inwood; items stolen from parked car.
• Jan. 21-22: Mott Avenue and Westend Avenue, Inwood; license plates stolen from parked car.

• Jan. 16: Jean Elsasser, of Long Beach, at Wal-Mart in Valley Stream for shoplifting.
• Jan. 16: Iris Peralta and Margarita Lopez, of Freeport, at Gap in Oceanside for shoplifting.
• Jan. 17: Tyler Beauchamp, of Woodmere, at Wal-Mart in Westbury for shoplifting.
• Jan. 18: Nandrani Sasenarain, of South Richmond Hill, at Macy’s in Valley Stream for shoplifting.
• Jan. 19: Iman Abdul-Majied, of Jamaica, at Wal-Mart in Valley Stream for shoplifting.
• Jan. 20: Dovid Hiller, of Lawrence, at Costco in North Lawrence for shoplifting.
• Jan. 20: Krystal Gayle N. Austin-Bryant, of Springfield Gardens, at Kohl’s in Valley Stream for shoplifting.

• Jan. 18: Thomas Maher, of Flushing, at Central Avenue and Stuart Avenue in Valley Stream for DWI.
• Jan. 19: Miguel Cruz, of Brooklyn, on South Central Avenue in Valley Stream for DWI.
• Jan. 20: Kevin Padgett, of Jamaica, at Central Avenue and Seaton Gate in North Valley Stream for DWI.
