The man who drove the getaway car for two Rockville Centre residents after they murdered a Yonkers woman in 2010 was also convicted of murder Friday.
English Thomas, 29, of Uniondale, faces 25 years to life in prison after being convicted of second-degree murder along with three other felony counts, Newsday [paid link] reported.
Police said that Thomas was the getaway driver for Charles Parsley, 28, and Kasaun White, 30, both of Old Mill Court, after the duo murdered 36-year-old Yonkers resident Sandra Hackley and then shot her husband and 12-year-old daughter back in April 2010.
Parsley and White were sentenced to 75 years to life in state prison for the crime back in June.
In October 2012, Thomas was charged with a separate attempted murder stemming from a February 2011 incident in Rockville Centre. According to police, on Feb. 21 2011, Thomas allegedly fired shots at a rival Bloods gang member near the Vibe Lounge in Rockville Centre.
Thomas is still awaiting trial for the alleged attempted murder in RVC.
