A West Hempstead man was arrested Thursday on dogfighting charges involving eight pit bull dogs "housed in cages" with "bite wounds" and "scarring from previous wounds", the Nassau County District Attorney's office said.

On Thursday, investigators arrived at Hernandez's residence on Pinebrook Avenue in West Hempstead discovered eight pit-bull dogs caged and housed in a multi-room shed on the property, along with multiple chickens and one rabbit, according to the DA's office

Two City of Long Beach employees were arrested in connection with stolen street and roadway signs.

Thomas O’Brien, 26, and Ivan Maxwell, 28, were arrested and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, the Long Beach Police Department announced Wednesday.

Nassau Crime Stoppers released the identity of the man they believe robbed TD Bank in Rockville Centre Jan. 10.

Police released a photo of Robert Davidson, 56, whom they believe was captured on surveillance video committing a robbery in Rockville Centre.

Cops: Anti Semitic Slurs Written at Lawrence, Cedarhurst LIRR

Anti-semitic slurs have been written on multiple ads at Five Towns LIRR stations and cops are hunting the culprits.

Multiple advertisements have been graffitied with anti-Semitic remarks at Cedarhurst and Lawrence LIRR stations since February 2013, cops said.

Cops: Lynbrook Man Exposed Himself to Teen

A Lynbrook man was arrested Friday after he allegedly exposed himself to a 16-year-old girl in Valley Stream, cops said.

According to police, David K. Aronov, 21, parked his Nissan Maxima on Fletcher Avenue on Thursday and Friday around 8:20 p.m.

Selden Woman Arrested for Jefferson Street Larcenies

A Selden woman was arrested in connection with two larcenies that occurred at two Jefferson Street homes back in December, police said.

Garden City detectives arrested Debra Johnson, 50, on Jan. 10 and charged her with two counts of petit larceny.

Cops: Illegal Massage Given to Undercover Cop in Cedarhurst

A Queens woman was charged after allegedly giving an illegal massage to an undercover cop in Cedarhurst, according to Nassau County Police.

Cops said Liu Hong, 52, of Flushing, was busted for giving an unlicensed massage to an undercover officer at MG Spa in Cedarhurst. She was charged at 3:20 p.m. Thursday, cops said.
