Doughty Boulevard Company Robbed

Male subject also struck an employee.

A man who simulated having a gun robbed a Doughty Boulevard company in Inwood Friday, according to police.

At 11:20 a.m., a black man in his thirties that is approximately 5 foot 10 inches and 200 pounds and wearing a black mouton hat, black mask, black canvass jacket, black pants and tan work boots entered Jeymar USA Corporation, located at 131 Doughty Boulevard, police said.

The subject was holding a black plastic bag in his right hand and simulated having a gun. He then jumped through a cashier window and removed an unknown amount of money.

As the subject fled the store, he struck a 53-year-old female employee who was behind the counter. She suffered a minor abrasion on her right cheek, which was treated at the scene. The subject fled on foot westbound on Morris Avenue.
