A motorist lost control of her vehicle just before 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Oxford Road and West Broadway in Cedarhurst and flipped it on its side.

Fire rescue crews from the Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department as well as NCPD were alerted. Once on scene, the female driver was found in the vehicle as it laid precariously on its side. Firefighters stabilized the car using wood cribbing and rope to prevent it from turning over completely.
