Driver Loses Control of SUV, Crashes into Inwood Building

Occupants of vehicle taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

An SUV crashed through a building at 265 Sheridan Blvd. on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. The driver of the late model BMW apparently lost control, striking the building and causing heavy structural damage. 

The two occupants of the vehicle were transported to South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside with non-life threatening injuries.

Nassau County Police and the Inwood Fire Department responded to the scene. The Town of Hempstead building department was notified to check the integrity of the structure due to the extensive damage.
