Driver Okay After Car Goes Into Water
Man apparently lost control of vehicle in parking lot on Rockaway Turnpike.

Nassau County Police officers and memebers of the Meadowmere Park Fire Department, along with the FDNY and NYPD, responded to an accident on Sunday at 12:30 a.m. next to the Applebee's on Rockaway Turnpike.
A male driver apparently lost control of his Nissan Crossover, crashing through the guardrail and landing in Jamaica Bay. Firefighters and police were able to remove the driver and treated him at the scene for minor injuries. The vehicle was removed from the water without incident.
