Electrical Fire Destroys Ambulances in Inwood

An early morning electrical fire destroyed three ambulances in an Inwood lot Friday, reported WABC.

The fire broke out at about 4 a.m. Friday and reportedly stemmed from a single fire in one of the vans belonging to First Response AMB.

The fire was quickly extinguished but not before engulfing two other vans and damaging several cars parked in a nearby lot, said the report. The fire has so far been deemed "accidental, possibly electrical" by the fire marshal, said the report.
