Fire Breaks Out at Vacant Inwood Synagogue

Departments respond to fire at three-story building Saturday morning.

The responded to a fire at a three-story vacant synagogue Saturday morning, according to fire officials.

Around 6:12 a.m., the department responded to the fire at 44 Bayswater Blvd.

The Inwood department was assisted by the Lawrence-Cedarhurst, Meadowmere Park and Hewlett fire departments. The Woodmere and Long beach departments covered Inwood headquarters  for any other alarms.
