Firefighter Admits He's no 9/11 Hero

Former Lawrence-Cedarhurst volunteer says he was not at World Trade Center.

A one-time member of the Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department who said he was at Ground Zero on Sept. 11, 2001, has admitted it was all a lie and apologized, CBS reports.

Jordan Lifander came forward after some New York City firemen discovered the truth.

"I got all caught up in the whole 9/11 anniversary and just lied," he said. "I was not a member of the FDNY, was not a captain in Ladder 133."
