Four Men Burglarize Expeditors International

The masked men stole approximately $30,000 worth of computer and electronic items.

Four men broke into Expeditors International in Inwood early Saturday morning and stole approximately $30,000 worth of computer and electronic items, Nassau County Police said.

According to Nassau County detectives, four unknown suspects pried opened a rear door of Expeditors International, located at 245 Rogers Avenue, Saturday morning between 3 and 4 a.m. As the suspects removed various computer and electronic items, the crime was being recorded on video surveillance.

A male employee, age 44, noticed the door ajar and went to investigate when the suspects ran passed him and then fled the scene in a white or silver van, police said.

The suspects are described as four males wearing dark clothing including masks and gloves. No further description is available and no injuries were reported.

Nassau County detectives are requesting anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
