Fourth Precinct Report, Jan. 3-10

Police report arrests for shoplifting and incidents of theft and damage.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests: 

  • Nadia Sheppard, 27, of Jamaica, and Dashant S. Scriven, 38, of Springfield Gardens, were arrested on Dec. 22 and charged with shoplifting at the on Rockaway Turnpike in North Woodmere.

  • A resident of Rolling Hill Lane in Lawrence reported being the victim of identity theft when multiple credit cards were opened in their name on Dec. 10.  
  • An unknown person(s) smashed the left side passenger window of a vehicle that was parked on Washington Avenue in Cedarhurst on Jan. 5. 
  • An unknown person(s) smashed the driver's side window of a vehicle that was parked on Chestnut Street in Cedarhurst on Jan. 5. 
  • An unknown person(s) removed an HP laptop from a vehicle that was parked on Grove Avenue in Cedarhurst on Jan. 5. 
  • An unknown person(s) shattered the rear driver's side window and took a cell phone and Kodak digital camera from a vehicle that was parked on Chestnut Street in Cedarhurst on Jan. 5.
  • An unknown person(s) removed pay stubs and the owner's manual from a vehicle that was parked on Arbuckle Avenue in Cedarhurst on Jan. 6. 
  • An unknown person(s) took an Ipod, Kodak digital camera and $30 from a vehicle that was parked on Bernard Street in Lawrence on Jan. 6 .
  • An unknown person(s) stole Valentino shoes from an unlocked vehicle that was parked on Church Avenue in Cedarhurst on Jan. 6.
