Fourth Precinct Report, Dec. 13-27

Police report arrests for DWI and incidents of theft and damage.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

DWI Arrests

  • Luis E. Pineda, 35, of Inwood, was arrested on Dec. 22 and charged with DWI on Solomon Avenue in Inwood.
  • Subodh Sinha, 58, of Woodmere, was arrested on Dec. 22 and charged with DWI on Franklin Place in Woodmere.
  • Victor Urias, 33, of Hempstead, was arrested on Dec. 24 and charged with DWI on Peninsula Boulevard in Woodmere.

Theft/damage

  • An unknown person(s) removed the glass from the side view mirror of a vehicle that was parked at the Five Towns Shopping Center in North Woodmere, a complainant reported to police on Dec. 15.
  • An unknown person(s) caused damage to two tires on a vehicle that was parked in a parking lot on Park Street in Atlantic Beach, a complainant reported to police on Dec. 15.
  • An unknown person(s) took $5 in change from an unlocked vehicle that was parked on Laurel Lane in Lawrence, a complainant reported to police on Dec. 16.
  • An unknown person(s) stole a GPS unit from a vehicle that was parked on Craft Avenue in Inwood, a complainant reported to police on Dec. 17.
  • A resident of Leroy Avenue in Cedarhurst reported to police on Dec. 18 that an unknown person(s) broke the front lamp on their property.
  • An unknown person(s) caused damage to a vehicle that was parked on Bayswater Boulevard in Inwood, a complainant reported to police on Dec. 20.
  • An unknown person(s) threw a beer bottle at the rear window of a vehicle that was parked on Longview Avenue in North Woodmere, a complainant reported to police on Dec. 23.
