Fourth Precinct Report, Dec. 27 to Jan. 3

Police report arrests for shoplifting and DWI and incidents of theft and damage.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • Lies M. Gonzalez, 20, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Dec. 29 and charged with shoplifting a crystal pendant, two bottles of perfume, and one pair of slippers — a total value of $100.47 — at the on Rockaway Turnpike in North Woodmere.
  • Christina L. Hatzfeld, 19, of Oceanside, was arrested on Jan. 1 and charged with DWI at the intersection of Mill Road and Chestnut Drive in Hewlett.

  • A resident of Broadway in Hewlett reported to police on Dec. 23 that they were the victim of identity theft when multiple fraudulent transactions were made to their Capital One debit card.
  • An unknown person(s) punctured three tires on a vehicle that was parked on Park Street in Atlantic Beach, a complainant reported to police on Dec. 29.
  • An unknown person(s) removed sunglasses and assorted DVDs from an unlocked vehicle that was parked on Roselle Avenue in Cedarhurst, a complainant reported to police on Dec. 30.
  • An unknown person(s) damaged the gate at on Peninsula Boulevard in Woodmere, a complainant reported to police on Jan. 2.
