Fourth Precinct Report, Dec. 4-12
Police report arrests for shoplifting and DWI and incidents of mischief in Inwood.
The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
According to the Fourth Precinct, the following individuals were arrested and charged with shoplifting:
- Ani D. Bellehsen, 24, of Valley Stream, at the Old Navy in Green Acres Mall on Dec. 4
- Waukena Rhodes, 25, of Hempstead, at the Kohl’s on Long Beach Road in Oceanside on Dec. 5
- Sharoma S. Racktoo, 35, of Jamaica, at the Macy’s in Green Acres Mall on Dec. 5
- Floyd O. Springer, 59, of Rosedale, at the Sears in Green Acres Mall on Dec. 7
- James E. Vespoli, 48, of Elmont, at the Target in Green Acres Mall on Dec. 9
- Irwine G. Clare Jr., 21, of Rosedale, at the Macy’s in Green Acres Mall on Dec. 9
Thomas W. Alfano Jr., 22, of Valley Stream, was arrested on Dec. 8 at South Central Avenue and West Merrick Road in Valley Stream and charged with DWI.

An unknown person(s) on Dec. 4 damaged the rear and side windows of a vehicle that was parked on Loretta Street in Inwood.
An unknown person(s) between Dec. 7 and 8 damaged the rear window of a vehicle that was parked on Lawrence Avenue in Inwood.
